I love the skill system, the level design is great, it is challenging without being unfair and just all around a great game.. Ok so I changed my review to Thumbs downThe levels get awfully annoying as you progress. Get ready to repeat a level like 4-5 times for 2 stars (not even 3 stars). I do not like replaying the exact same level 4-5 times The combat system is unbalanced and perks almost useless. Great Tower Defense game, 9/10. Many achievements, nice upgrades and a unique 1-3 star rating (if anyone as much as touches on of you gems, you lose a star, if they manage to bring it away, you lose another...). Enough levels to keep you busy earning all stars, upgrades and achievements. Last levels are quite hard to perfect.. I don't see how to beat the final level without any Skull-powerups, which are pretty much cheats to me. Where's the fun in beating the game with cheats? To me, this feels like a bad port from mobile to PC, where the pay-to-win currency simply became integrated as a random minion's drop.. This is easily one of the best tower defense games out there. I've played and beat it on my Android. The The game is very balanced and I never felt like the game was cheating me. The tower skill system is well done, and you aren't ever left feeling like your skill points have gone to waste. Even after beating the game I would go back and attempt to get 3 stars for day and night modes. Buying this classic is a no brainer for the price tag.
